Keeping Busy

With the distractions of another busy holiday season behind us, the short days and long, cold nights of winter now get our full attention. For plants people, it is a greenhouse, interior plant collection, an arboretum visit or trip to a warmer climate that keeps us sane. Granted, the dormant landscape offers a stark beauty of it's own, but the thrill of the bud, leaf, and flower's ever changing show is put on hold.

Working indoors at a large, wholesale, interior plant greenhouse makes my winter pass as easily as if I lived in the tropics. Servicing the tri-sate area and it's interior foliage and flowering plant needs, there is never a dull day in my plant-based world. Unless of course the occasional 'big snow' that slows or stops things for a while.
